Obama Names Hamburg FDA Chief, Pledges to Improve Food Safety

March 14 (Bloomberg) -- President Barack Obama named Margaret A. Hamburg, a physician and bioterrorism expert, to head the Food and Drug Administration and announced he’s creating a new panel to bolster U.S. food safety.
