CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 23, 2005--NovaMed, Inc. (Nasdaq:NOVA) today announced that it has completed the acquisition of a 51% interest in the Colorado Outpatient Eye Surgery Center, an ambulatory surgery center located in Denver, Colorado. On April 22, 2005, NovaMed announced that it had entered into a definitive agreement to acquire a 51% interest in this ambulatory surgery center. NovaMed now operates two surgery centers in Colorado.
