National Disease Research Interchange (NDRI), the nation’s leading source of human tissues, cells and organs for scientific research, has elected three new members to its board of directors including Mary J.C. Hendrix, PhD, president and scientific director for the Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago Research Center at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Jonathan D. Moreno, PhD, professor of medical ethics and health policy at the University of Pennsylvania and a 2008-09 member of President Barack Obama’s transition team, and Howard M. Nathan, president and CEO of the Philadelphia-based nonprofit Gift of Life Donor Program.
