PITTSBURGH and GREEN BAY, Wis., March 18, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- GENCO, the leader in delivering product lifecycle logistics® solutions, announced today that it was awarded a multi-year contract by Drive Medical Design & Manufacturing to provide transportation management and logistics services.

Through this award, GENCO will provide a comprehensive range of transportation-related services, including rating and routing options for all transportation modes, load optimization and planning, mode and carrier selection, carrier rate procurement for LTL and truckload, carrier contracting and contract management, tendering of shipments, shipment visibility and event management, freight payment and audit, and parcel audit and mediation.

GENCO will employ its proprietary parcel software, as well as its W-Log application, in conjunction with MercuryGate’s domestic transportation management technology for execution of all transportation modes.
