Garrett Lindemann, Ph.D., Joins Kyield As Executive Vice President And Chief Scientific Officer For Life Sciences

Dr. Lindemann to Lead Strategic Partnerships and Licensing in Life Sciences and Healthcare

SANTA FE, N.M.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Kyield, a pioneer in data management and artificial intelligence systems, announced today that industry veteran Garrett W. Lindemann, Ph.D., has joined the company as Executive Vice President and Chief Scientific Officer for Life Sciences. In this role, Dr. Lindemann will be responsible for leading strategic business development, licensing, and partnerships in biotech, pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, devices, and healthcare.

Dr. Lindemann brings 20 years of experience in life sciences to this role. He started his career at Boehringer Mannheim in 1995, which was acquired by Roche in 1997, where he managed and led research teams and performed technology assessment for the Chief Technology Office of Roche Diagnostics. He then served as Executive Vice President of Research and Development for a start-up pharmaceutical company with responsibility for molecule and drug development (pre-clinical and clinical) and patent portfolio management, before joining Initium Venture Capital as Life Sciences Analyst. More recently Dr. Lindemann has served as a consultant and advisor to multiple biotech and pharmaceutical companies, Kyield, and the University of Wyoming.

Dr. Lindemann earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from Saint John’s University (Collegeville, Minnesota), and was awarded a Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics from the University of Kansas (Lawrence, Kansas) in 1995.
