Connecticut Technology Council Accepting Nominations for 2009 UHY LLP Tech Top 40

HARTFORD, CT--(Marketwire - May 27, 2009) - The Connecticut Technology Council and UHY LLP are now accepting nominations for the 2009 UHY LLP Tech Top 40, an annual event that recognizes the 40 fastest growing technology companies in Connecticut. The list of 40 winning companies will be compiled on the basis of revenue growth over the last four years. Companies applying for this recognition must have at least $3 million in revenue in the most recently ended fiscal year.

The application process opened on May 1 and will close on June 30, 2009. Companies can apply at the Connecticut Technology Council website at www.ct.org. The Council’s site also provides the specific eligibility requirements. Both private and public technology companies are eligible.

The winning companies will be grouped into six technology verticals: Software, IT Services, Life Sciences, Advanced Manufacturing, New Media/Internet/Telecom and Energy Environmental Technologies.

The Council and UHY LLP will honor the winning companies the evening of October 22, 2009 at the Chevrolet Theater in Wallingford. At the event, which will also include a mini-trade show featuring the 40 winning companies, the six category winners will be announced, along with the company with the greatest percentage growth in revenue across all the technology verticals.
