Companion Technologies Joins American Academy Of Family Physicians’ Electronic Medical Records Campaign

COLUMBIA, S.C., June 2 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) has accepted Companion Technologies as a supporter of its Partners for Patients initiative to provide its membership with electronic health records to improve continuity of patient care, reduce medical errors, and ensure health information transportability.

Companion Technologies signed a Declaration of Support for Partners for Patients in which the company agrees to uphold the AAFP's four guiding principles of affordability, compatibility, interoperability and data stewardship in technology products for family physicians.
