ROCHESTER, Mich., Oct. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Crittenton Hospital Medical Center has named Nishit Choksi, MD, to be director of Interventional Cardiology at Crittenton’s Heart Center. Dr. Choksi, who is also certified in internal medicine, joined the medical staff at Crittenton in 2003. Prior to coming to Crittenton, he was director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at William Beaumont Hospital in Troy.

Dr. Choksi received his medical degree from Grant Medical College in Bombay, India and completed his internship and residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. Dr. Choksi completed fellowships in cardiology at Beaumont and interventional cardiology at Washington Hospital Center, Washington D.C., and Ochsner Clinic, New Orleans, Louisiana.
He is certified by the American College of Angiology, the American College of Chest Physicians, the American College of Cardiology and the American College of Cardiology (Interventional).
Dr. Choksi is widely published in medical journals, holds memberships in several professional organizations and has made presentations throughout the United States.
