UPPSALA, Sweden, Jan. 27, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Biacore International AB (Biacore) (Stockholmsborsen: BCOR) announced today that the launch of its new system Biacore(R) T100 will take place at the Association of Biomolecular Resource Facilities (ABRF) annual meeting in Savannah, Georgia on February 5-8. Biacore(R) T100 is expected to become the Company’s new flagship system based on its flexibility to meet a broad range of protein interaction analysis applications. The new system will be used across the life science research spectrum from basic research through drug discovery and development to manufacturing and QC. Biacore(R) T100 will complement the new array system that was introduced towards the end of 2004, considerably strengthening Biacore’s high-end product offering.
