TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Axela Inc has introduced the dotLab® Amine Reactive Sensor for stable covalent coupling of affinity reagents such as antibodies for use with the Axela dotLab® System. Now researchers in the basic and clinical sciences and protein production have additional tools for immunoassay design and interaction experiments to complement the original dotLab® Avidin Sensors. The newly released Amine Reactive Sensor directly links capture species covalently, thereby eliminating the need for offline conjugation and reducing capture protein requirements 50-fold. This is especially advantageous when only small quantities of reagent are available or when screening a number of candidates prior to undertaking biotinylation. In addition, Amine Reactive Sensors are compatible with regeneration for increased throughput or rapid comparative experiments. The sensor’s lidless format even makes sample recovery possible for offline Mass Spectrometry analysis.
