Tokyo, Apr 8, 2006 (JCN) - Asahi Glass announced on April 6 that it has decided to expand its facility for manufacturing recombinant protein. The company will construct a new plant on the premise of its Chiba Plant, beginning in October. The new plant, which is to comply with cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practice), will go into operational in August 2007.
