Doc's Guide -- The long-acting bronchodilator salmeterol combined with the inhaled corticosteroid (ICS) fluticasone propionate (SAL/FP) shows symptom control and improved lung function equivalent to a doubled dose of ICS in children who are symptomatic on ICS.
