Rcadia Announces Initial U.S. COR Analyzer Beta Site Automated Coronary CTA Analysis Software Performs at St. James Healthcare Without Human Intervention

BOSTON, Nov. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Rcadia Medical Imaging, Ltd., developer and marketer of innovative, patented computer-aided diagnostic software, announces the first installation of its COR Analyzer at St. James Healthcare in Butte, Montana.
Rcadia's COR Analyzer performs automatic segmentation and tracking of the coronary artery tree for Coronary CT angiogram (CTA) procedures without human intervention. The COR Analyzer system detects stenotic lesions in the major coronary arteries and automatically identifies patients without coronary artery disease with a very high negative predictive value. It uses proprietary image processing algorithms to produce a report that assists physicians accurately and quickly in evaluating patients with suspected coronary artery disease.

Rcadia's COR Analyzer is installed as a beta site at MNAP Diagnostics in Pennsylvania, with additional beta installations planned for November. "Beta sites will provide us with information to optimize and fine-tune the system to support physician workflow," noted Rcadia CEO, Shai Levanon. Levanon added, "We are currently setting up our distribution and technical support team in the U.S. and expect to initiate sales of the COR Analyzer system in the very near future."
