OncLive Presents State of the Science Summit: Gastrointestinal Malignancies

CRANBURY, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- OncLive®, a leading digital provider of resources and information for oncology professionals, announces its latest State of the Science Summit™: Gastrointestinal Malignancies, which will take place at the New York Palace Hotel on Dec. 6 from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The program will be co-chaired by expert oncologists from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Ghassan K. Abou-Alfa, M.D., and Eileen M. O’Reilly, M.D., associate director for Clinical Research, David M. Rubenstein Center for Pancreatic Cancer Research.

This 3.5-hour educational conference is designed to inform oncologists and other medical professionals about recent developments in the field of gastrointestinal (GI) cancers. The summit will feature the following expert panelists who will discuss pressing issues related to metastatic colorectal cancer, pancreatic cancer, innovative radiation techniques in GI and gastric cancers:

  • Luis Diaz, M.D., medical oncologist, head of the Division of Solid Tumor Oncology
  • David H. Ilson, M.D., Ph.D., medical oncologist
  • William Jarnagin, M.D., surgeon, chief of the Hepatopancreatobiliary Service, Benno C. Schmidt Chair in Surgical Oncology
  • Leonard B. Saltz, M.D., medical oncologist, chief of the Gastrointestinal Oncology Service, head of the Colorectal Oncology Section
  • Christopher Crane, M.D., radiation oncologist, vice chair of the Department of Radiation Oncology
  • Diane Reidy-Lagunes, M.D., medical oncologist

State of the Science Summit™ is a premier conference series hosted by OncLive® featuring medical experts from across the nation.
