(B.Braun) will showcase its Clinical Nutrition portfolio, which enables customers to customize their patient's parenteral nutrition needs safely in-house or via outsourcing, at the American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (A.S.P.E.N.), Clinical Nutrition Week 2014, Savannah International Convention & Trade Center, Savannah, GAJanuary 18-21, 2014, at booth (#409).

B.Braun will feature the CAPS® outsourcing admixture capabilities, Clinical Nutrition Parenteral Products and PINNACLE® TPN Management System:

  • CAPS® Sterile Admixture Outsourcing Services, Central Admixture Pharmacy Services, Inc. CAPS provides flexibility for ordering individualized PN prescriptions while improving PN safety, and reduces varying production demands so customers can redeploy valuable labor. CAPSLink web based PN order entry application allows access via the internet. CAPS is registered with the FDA.
  • B.Braun offers a valued line of Parenteral Solutions to meet both basic and specialty nutrition needs, including some parenteral nutrition industry firsts such as TrophAmine®, HepatAmine® and ProcalAmine®.
    • B.Braun will be celebrating the 30th Birthday of TrophAmine®.
  • The PINNACLE® TPN Management System, streamlines compounding and manages all aspects of the TPN process for improved efficiency and safety. The enhanced, easier-to-use Pinnacle TPN Manager Software will also be featured, which allows pharmacists to enter orders remotely using iPads.
