Advantar Labs Enhances Quality Leadership

SAN DIEGO - Advantar Labs, a contract laboratory provider of GLP & cGMP Analytical and Formulation Development Services to Pharmaceutical, Biotech and Medical Device companies, is pleased to announce that Michael Hagan has been promoted to Director of Quality Assurance.

Hagan will oversee the planning, expansion and management of Advantar's Quality operations encompassing training and compliance systems for lab procedures, study protocols and instrumentation maintenance and audits. Hagan brings over 25 years of analytical development, formulation, stability and quality management expertise to the Advantar team.

Michael Hagan was previously Director of Quality Control and Stability at Catalent Pharma Solutions from 2002-2010 and Project Director at Magellan (acquired by Catalent) 1999-2002. Prior to that Hagan held senior scientist roles with Analytical Chemistry and Manufacturing for Beckman Coulter/Hybritech from 1999 to 1986. Hagan has a B.Sc. in Microbiology from U.C. San Diego.
