Arrow International, Inc. To Significantly Downsize, Will Cost 600 North Carolina Jobs

Arrow is axing jobs but others are hiring too! Check it out! (Isn't it tempting?)

Most of the more than 600 workers at the Arrow International manufacturing facility in Asheboro will be laid off as that operation is shuttered and those jobs moved to Mexico, according to various media reports. The company, which has operated in the North Carolina Piedmont city for 60 years, is undergoing a "global restructuring," WRAL Tech Wire reports. The plant was acquired by Philadelphia-based Teleflex in 2007, and industry news source Plastics Today noted that Arrow is the Asheboro area's eighth-largest employer.

Don't forget, hundreds of biopharma companies are hiring! (We know you can't resist.)
