BizJournals -- The parent of Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar and IHOP reported a fourth-quarter loss available to common shareholders of $136.9 million, mainly because of a noncash impairment charge of $148.3 million for writedowns of Applebee’s good will and intangible assets.
