SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Affymetrix Inc., (Nasdaq:AFFX) today reported its operating results for the fourth quarter and fiscal year ended December 31, 2006. On a GAAP basis, the Company reported net income of approximately $8.7 million or $0.13 per diluted share in the fourth quarter of 2006 as compared to net income of $30.6 million or $0.43 per diluted share in the fourth quarter of 2005.
