Acambis FY Profit Soars On Smallpox Revenue

U.K. vaccines maker Acambis PLC (NasdaqNM:ACAM - News) Tuesday posted a fourfold increase in pretax profit for 2003, as it booked revenue from a large- scale contract to supply smallpox vaccine to the U.S. government.
