BENSALEM, Pa., Sept. 25, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Xybion won its latest government contract and will begin supplying Pristima ® as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model of delivery to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in September 2014.
The United States government organization required a hosted commercial in-life data collection and management system for use by the personnel of the Health Effects Laboratory Division (HELD), the strategic organization within The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) to scientifically establish causes and mechanisms of diseases and injury in the workplace. The research initiative will be conducted within HELD by the Toxicology Assessment Program (TAP), which will implement the hosted-version of Pristima® to collect and analyze the data from multiple laboratories across multiple locations.
Xybion will provide the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention with Pristima® Study Management, and supplemental modules including Animal Room, Necropsy, Pathology, Histology, Repro and Historical Controls. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will also employ Xybion Consulting Services to aid in the start-up, maintenance and continuous education pertaining to the software.
