MUNDELEIN, Ill., Aug. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Sysmex America, Inc. announced today that Karen Stoneman, SPHR, has been named as Vice President of Human Resources. In her new role, Stoneman will plan, direct and implement policies relating to all phases of human resources activity, including employee retention and recruitment, benefits and compensation and training and development. Concurrently, she becomes a member of the company's senior leadership team.
Prior to joining Sysmex America, Stoneman worked at Baxter Healthcare for ten years in a variety of positions, including Vice President of Human Resources for the Renal Division, Director of Human Resources for the Transfusion Therapies Division and Director of Global Talent Planning. While there, her contributions were many, particularly in the areas of organizational effectiveness, talent development and performance management. In addition to serving as the Strategic HR Business Partner to the President of Baxter Japan, Stoneman worked closely with global marketing, quality, manufacturing, finance, legal, and research and development teams during her time at Baxter. Prior to Baxter, Stoneman spent eight years in consulting with Watson Wyatt Worldwide and IDG, Inc.
