The new assay is a homogeneous enzyme immunoassay that specifically detects hydrocodone and major metabolites in human urine at a 300 ng/mL cut-off. The assay utilizes liquid ready-to-use reagents, calibrators and controls, and can be run in qualitative and semi-quantitative modes. The assay has =100% cross-reactivity to the major metabolites hydromorphone and hydromorphone glucuronide. DRI Hydrocodone / Hydromorphone Assay demonstrated good correlation with LC-MS/MS and has excellent assay precision.
