Dr. Kossman has dedicated nearly 30 years to the fields of hematology and medical oncology in southern California. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine. A member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the San Diego County Medical Society, Dr. Kossman is in private practice and is clinical professor of medicine at the University of California at San Diego. He is former chief of staff and chairman of the Department of Medicine at Alvarado Hospital and former president of the San Diego Foundation for Medical Care.
