Three technology companies expect to create 991 jobs in the Denver area during the next five years and may receive a combined $8.2 million in state tax incentives for the growth. DigitalGlobe, the Longmont-based satellite imaging company; Terumo BCT, a Lakewood-based medical device maker; and Sympoz, Denver online software company behind the instructional video website Craftsy, all received Colorado Economic Development Commission approval for tax incentives Thursday. DigitalGlobe may receive as much as $4.36 million off its corporate income taxes during next five years if it creates all 435 jobs it projects adding in northern metro area and that are eligible for incentives.
