Rocket Pharmaceuticals Announces Closing of Public Offering and Full Exercise of the Underwriters’ Option to Purchase Additional Shares - April 18, 2019

Rocket Pharmaceuticals, Inc. announces the closing of its previously announced underwritten public offering of 5,175,000 shares of its common stock, which includes the full exercise of the underwriters’ option to purchase 675,000 additional shares of its common stock, at a public offering price of $17.50 per share.

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Rocket Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq:RCKT) (“Rocket”), a leading U.S.-based multi-platform gene therapy company, today announces the closing of its previously announced underwritten public offering of 5,175,000 shares of its common stock, which includes the full exercise of the underwriters’ option to purchase 675,000 additional shares of its common stock, at a public offering price of $17.50 per share. The gross proceeds to Rocket from the offering are expected to be approximately $90.6 million, before deducting the underwriting discounts and commissions and other offering expenses.

Rocket intends to use the net proceeds from this offering to further fund the development of its pipeline of gene therapies for rare diseases, to accelerate the buildout of in-house manufacturing capabilities, and for general corporate purposes.

SVB Leerink, Evercore ISI and William Blair acted as joint-bookrunning managers for the offering. Oppenheimer & Co. acted as lead manager for the offering.
