Right ventricle dimensions significantly predicted mortality in patients with mitral regurgitation who underwent valve surgery, next to only New York Heart Association class in magnitude of impact, according to Venkatesh Y. Anjan, MD, of Northwestern University in Chicago, and colleagues.
