FRANKLIN LAKES, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 1, 2006--A patient with injuries to both the lateral and medial meniscus of the same knee was the recipient of two CMI devices in a first-of-its-kind surgery. The procedure was performed by Dr. Ricardo Crespo in "La Mancha Centro" General Hospital of Alcazar de San Juan (Ciudad Real). Assisting in the surgery were William Rodkey, DVM and Dr. Jose L. Sobas. The procedure was part of a post-market surveillance study that ReGen is conducting in several countries throughout Europe prior to a full European launch of the CMI device for the lateral meniscus.
