Imran has spent nearly 40 years creating and commercializing breakthrough medical innovations. His most recent invention, the RaniPill™ capsule, has the potential to disrupt the pharmaceutical industry by converting injectable medications into pills.

Covered by more than 50 patents, the RaniPill capsule is suitable for many of the injectable drugs used by patients with rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, Crohn’s disease, diabetes, osteoporosis, multiple sclerosis, hemophilia, among other diseases and conditions.

“My passion and life’s work has been to understand and solve major unmet clinical needs, with the hope that new innovations can positively impact the lives of millions of patients,” said Mir Imran, Chairman and CEO of Rani Therapeutics. “Bringing new innovations to market for the benefit of patients keeps me motivated every day and my goal is to continue to push boundaries and solve problems for the rest of my life.”
