Fusion 9, held at the Hilton Clearwater Beach in Clearwater Beach, FL, March 18-21, served as the venue for Pilgrim’s most educationally diverse conference to-date, with a focus on the future compliance and quality landscape and evolving disruptive technology. The event brought together quality and regulatory experts, current Pilgrim users, and select business partners to discuss industry best practices, share success stories and learn more about Pilgrim’s integrated software solutions.

Over two and a half days, the conference featured presentations on a diverse cross-section of quality, risk management and compliance topics including change management, supplier quality, risk, regulatory reporting, cloud computing, and proven Best Practices presented by Pilgrim’s customers. The audience, including a record number of first-time Fusion attendees, uncovered how enterprises worldwide are engaging those practices to accomplish their business objectives. The conference keynote, “The New Future,” was presented by Dr. James Canton, PhD, CEO and Chairman of the Institute for Global Futures, a leading think tank he founded in 1990 that advises business and government on future trends. During his presentation, he discussed the demands of the future health care customer and how life science organizations can plan today to prepare.
Learning sessions at Fusion 9 were tailored to appeal to users, technical and executive-level attendees. Those individuals were brought together with Pilgrim’s executive, technical, professional services and account executive staff, to gain a comprehensive perspective on the products and services available from Pilgrim Software. The Fusion 9 Technology Lab provided hands-on training conducted by Pilgrim’s implementation and technical support experts. Roundtable sessions provided an opportunity for attendees to meet with other customers in small, interactive groups to discuss their processes, share their best practices, and provide input into future product direction.
