Smith will be responsible for new business development and management of client relationships and client retention in northwest United States.

Smith brings to the Maetrics nearly two decades of successful experience in leadership roles where she implemented and managed over 100 million dollars in contracts in the United States, Europe and Pacific Asia. She has served as Global Industry Director at Thermo Fisher Scientific where she was responsible for new business development and also standardization of the project approach, Global Contract implementation, and expansion of global enterprise services. Prior to that, she was Global Account Director for, VWR International, and also a Regional Manager there. Smith is a graduate of the University of California, San Diego, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry/Cell Biology.
