DUBLIN, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Neoprobe Corporation (OTCBB:NEOP), a diversified developer of innovative oncology and cardiovascular surgical and diagnostic products, today announced consolidated results for the third quarter of 2008 and for the nine-month period ended September 30, 2008. For the third quarter of 2008, Neoprobe reported a net loss of $1.9 million or $0.03 per share compared to a net loss of $942,000 or $0.01 per share for the third quarter in 2007. For the nine months ended September 30, 2008, Neoprobe reported a net loss of $3.9 million or $0.06 per share compared to a net loss of $3.2 million or $0.05 per share for the same period in 2007. Neoprobe’s loss from operations for the third quarter of 2008 was $1.5 million compared to $90,000 for the third quarter of 2007. Neoprobe’s loss from operations for the nine-month period ended September 30, 2008 was $2.3 million compared to $1.5 million for the same period of 2007.
