Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam and Economic and Community Development Commissioner Bill Hagerty, along with MicroPort Orthopedics Inc. officials today announced the company will expand its current headquarter operations in Shelby County.
The orthopedic implant and instrument manufacturer will invest $100 million over the next five years in product design, manufacturing capability, and world class training and education facilities at its existing location in Arlington, Tennessee and create 171 new jobs.
