Instrumentation Laboratory Company Awarded New Contract For GEM(R) Premier(TM) 3000 Analyzer

LEXINGTON, Mass., Aug. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Instrumentation Laboratory (IL) today announced that it has been awarded a three-year contract with Mayo Clinic for its GEM Premier 3000 critical care analyzer, IL’s flagship product for blood gas, electrolyte and metabolite testing.

The GEM Premier 3000 features Intelligent Quality Management (iQM(TM)), a real-time, automated, continuous quality assurance system that helps ensure the quality of every test result and reduce costs and time. iQM, coupled with its cartridge-based technology and ease of use, allows the GEM Premier 3000 to be used throughout the hospital, at the point of care and in the lab. It is the only critical care analyzer that offers “true standardization.”

“This contract symbolizes a real accomplishment for IL.
