Houston’s Dr. Stanislaw R. Burzynski Receives Cross Of Merit Award From The Polish Government For Pioneering Research In Cancer Treatment

On Oct. 23, 2004, the Polish American Congress and the Polish community will celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the founding of the first permanent Polish settlement in America at Panna Maria, Texas, December, 1854. A Gala Awards Banquet will be held at the Marriott Hotel-Sugar Land on Saturday, Oct. 23 (6:30 p.m. reception, 8:00 p.m. dinner.) This will be the culmination of a week-long celebration in Houston, including an art exhibit, symphony concert and educational forum highlighting Polish contributions to American culture and society.
