HilleVax Announces Closing of Public Offering of Common Stock and Full Exercise of the Underwriters’ Option to Purchase Additional Shares

HilleVax, Inc. today announced that it has closed its previously announced underwritten public offering of 9,200,000 shares of its common stock, which includes the exercise in full by the underwriters of their option to purchase 1,200,000 additional shares, at a price to the public of $12.50 per share.

BOSTON, Sept. 25, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- HilleVax, Inc. (Nasdaq: HLVX), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing and commercializing novel vaccines, today announced that it has closed its previously announced underwritten public offering of 9,200,000 shares of its common stock, which includes the exercise in full by the underwriters of their option to purchase 1,200,000 additional shares, at a price to the public of $12.50 per share. All of the shares in the offering were sold by HilleVax. The gross proceeds to HilleVax from the offering, before deducting underwriting discounts and commissions and other offering expenses, were $115.0 million.

HilleVax intends to use the net proceeds from the offering to fund the clinical development of HIL-214, including certain manufacturing activities, and for working capital and general corporate purposes.

J.P. Morgan, Leerink Partners, Stifel and Guggenheim Securities acted as joint book-running managers for the offering.
