FOSTER CITY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Gilead Sciences, Inc. (Nasdaq: GILD) announced today the promotion of Paul Carter to Senior Vice President, International Commercial Operations. Mr. Carter is responsible for the company’s commercial organization in all territories outside North America, reporting to Kevin Young, Gilead’s Executive Vice President, Commercial Operations. With his promotion to Senior Vice President, Mr. Carter will join Gilead’s Executive Committee.
