LYON, FRANCE--(Marketwired - July 02, 2014) - Flamel Technologies S.A. (NASDAQ: FLML) today announced voting results from the Company’s annual ordinary and extraordinary meeting held on June 24, 2014. Approximately 97 percent of outstanding shares were represented at the meeting. The director nominees, Mr. Michael S. Anderson, Mr. Ben V. Van Assche, Mr. Guillaume Cerutti, Dr. Francis J.T. Fildes, Mr. Christopher Navarre, and Ambassador Craig Stapleton were each elected to Flamel’s board of directors for a one-year term. Each director received at least 90% of the votes cast and at the conclusion of the meeting the new Board of Directors elected Craig Stapleton as Chairman.
Shareholders overwhelmingly approved each additional resolution recommended by management.
