The Draeger AirBoss Series self-contained breathing apparatus provides a high level of protection in harsh environments. Available as an adjustable 3-position ergonomic backplate or as a one-piece backplate, the AirBoss SCBA series utilizes the well proven AirBoss pneumatic system with a lightweight, robust carbon composite back plate on both model types. The fail safe first stage pressure reducer carries the air to the Lung Demand Valve, delivering an easy to breathe 550 liters/minute of air to the user and provides an easy push doffing switch. The AirBoss Series also comes complete with RIC coupling and a hardened heads up display to offer a mechanical gauge with the option of an integrated PASS device. The optional PASS is located on the hip providing a loud 95dB warning when required. The Panorama Nova face mask offers superior fit with 3 sealing edges and 2 sealing surfaces. It is available in 3 sizes. The AirBoss Series comes standard with the CBRN second stage regulator. The optional BACom is a voice amplifier and radio interface communication system.
