MedPageToday -- Patients who present with myocardial infarction and depression are likely to be low on the priority list at the emergency ward, researchers reported. In a retrospective cohort study, heart attack patients with a charted history of depression were significantly more likely than other patients to get a low triage score, according to Clare Atzema, MD, and colleagues at the Institute for Clinical Evaluative Sciences in Toronto.
