(NASDAQ: DSCP) announced plans to launch its next generation of intra-aortic balloon therapy products, the Sensation 7 Fr. intra-aortic balloon (IAB) catheter and the CS300 automatic IAB pump. The products will be launched upon receipt of U.S. and European regulatory approvals, which Datascope applied for in late November and early December 2006, respectively.
