SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Cyntellect, Inc., a privately-held life sciences company leading the development and commercialization of microplate-based cytometry systems, announced today that it has appointed Gareth Jones as its European Director of Sales and Operations responsible for the sale of company products to life science research customers, including pharmaceutical and biotechnology in Europe, and for setting up Cyntellect’s European operations. Gareth joins Cyntellect from the position of Global Market Development Director for GE Healthcare’s Advanced Systems & Cellular Technologies Divisions, where he was responsible for building enterprise level business opportunities between GE Healthcare and its global pharmaceutical and biotech customers.
