Current Industry-Related News Solidifies MediSys Corporation’s Medical Model

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla., June 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Recent news released by highly credible industry sources has MediSys Corporation thrilled about the future of their business. In May the AP reported that both Levitra(R) and Viagra(R) launched new advertising campaigns focusing on a clinical approach to Erectile Dysfunction (ED). While the reason for the shift in focus is to increase market share for the 1.4 billion dollars ED drug market; the message is clear -- ED is not just a lifestyle concern but a medical condition linked to other sometimes serious diseases such as Diabetes and high blood pressure. While MediSys Corporation has been touting ED as a condition linked to many underlying diseases since commencing the development of the MaxLife Center for Men(TM) in late 2002; only recently has the mainstream medical community started recognizing the relationship between certain diseases and ED.

Joshua Konigsberg CEO of MediSys Corporation said, “What is great about Levitra(R) and Viagra(R) introducing these new campaigns is that it will send patients to our licensed clinics for the right reasons, to uncover the underlying disease and not just for sexual restoration. All of our MaxLife Center for Men(TM) licensed clinics are qualified to identify these diseases (and others) earlier in the disease process, thus improving the quality of patient care.”

To further edify the MaxLife Center for Men(TM) medical model, on May 19th the Mayo Clinic released an article entitled, “Erectile Dysfunction: A sign of Heart Disease?” http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/erectile-dysfunction/HB00074 . The article discusses three links between heart disease and ED. Most importantly it concludes that “signs of ED could be a lifesaver” as it could help doctors identify possible cardiovascular disease before major events such as heart attack or stroke.

Dr. Ralph Benson, MediSys Corporation’s Medical Director, who coincidentally did his internship at the Mayo Clinic and is a former Chairman of Urology at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL (Dr. Benson had no influence or contribution to the article) was quoted as saying, “This is fantastic news and proves MediSys Corporation is ahead of the curve and has been on the right track: the medical community at the highest level is catching up.”
