Connectyx’ Random Sampling of MedFlash Members Confirms Greatest Use in Over 50 Age Group

STUART, FL--(Marketwire - April 01, 2011) - Connectyx Technologies Holdings Group, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: CTYX) ("Connectyx"), www.connectyx.com, manufacturer and distributor of the MedFlash®, the nation's premier Personal Health and Wellness Management System (ePHM) for maintaining personal health records (PHR), conducted a study of a random sampling of MedFlash subscribers that indicates that the largest age group is 50 years old and older.

Connectyx found that 69.5% of MedFlash members are 50 years old and older, mirroring other demographic studies of personal health record users. The single largest member age bracket was from 60-69 at 27.3% of the random sampling of MedFlash membership. As more Americans are starting to use Personal Health and Wellness Tools (1 out of every 14 people), doubling from the prior year, Connectyx is well positioned as a leading product in this growing market. MedFlash should see rapid growth over the next 36 months as healthcare reform continues to evolve and insurance costs increase. In an oft-cited study by the California Healthcare Foundation, "Users say that secure, password-protected PHRs give them the confidence they need to access their personal information online, and when they do, they pay more attention to their health. One in three PHR users say they used the PHR to take a specific action to improve their health -- sparking hope that these technologies could be the long-awaited tools that help engage patients in taking better care of themselves."

Ronn Schuman, CEO of Connectyx, said, "MedFlash is increasing its ability to attract all age groups, but our primary focus will be to empower the baby boomer generation that understands the benefits of using technology to improve all aspects of their lives as they get older and increasingly aware of the importance of maintaining access to their personal medical records. More importantly, as their healthcare and well-being becomes a top priority, MedFlash and other wellness tools will be key components as part of their lifestyle."

MedFlash will continue to add new tools and services such as, consumer lab testing, advanced directives/living will, discounted drug benefits, all of which will drive utilization of their wellness portal from the growing segment of the aging population that has shown direct interest in these types of programs and services.

Schuman continued, "We have spent three years testing and developing our product wellness portal paradigms and understand the needs and wants of the consumer. Furthermore, with the recent endorsement of the Optometric National Eye Coalition and their support from the Optometrist industry, we believe that this will also accelerate MedFlash membership, as studies clearly show that when a healthcare professional recommends to their patient that they take action on a product to improve their well being, that the patient utilization increases by 50%."
