Silicon Valley / San Jose Business Journal -- Complete Genomics Inc. raised about $54 million in its initial public offering, after the company’s shares sold below the price range the company had expected.
Mountain View-based Complete Genomics sold 6 million shares priced at $9 per share, below the $12 to $14 range expected earlier.
In its regulatory filing Complete Genomics had estimated it would raised $69.3 million.
The company focuses on DNA sequencing and lists on Nasdaq under the ticker symbol GNOM.
