ORMOND BEACH, Fla., Feb. 24, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Command Medical Products, premier contract manufacturer of single use disposable plastic medical devices, today announced that Jim Carnall, Chief Operating Officer (COO), has been promoted to President with overall responsibility for Command Medical Products’ facilities in both Florida and Nicaragua.

The promotion of Carnall to the President position is significant in that this is the first time in company history someone other than David Slick has held that title. Mr. Slick will remain on at Command Medical as Chairman of the Board and assuming the new role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Immediately before joining Command Medical, Carnall co-founded and served as Chief Operating Officer for ViewRay; a company focused on development and commercialization of a new radiotherapy treatment for cancer. In prior years Jim served in multiple leadership positions including Vice President of Manufacturing for Kodak Health Imaging Systems, Director of Operations of the Florida Tissue Bank as well as the Director of Operations for Regeneration Technologies Inc., where he helped to lead the company’s growth and position it for initial IPO.
