MONTREAL, Dec. 8 /CNW Telbec/ - Biophage Pharma Inc. (TSX.V: BUG) today
announced that it is developing a novel platform for the selective isolation
and concentration of bacteria based on the unique properties of natural phages
from the proprietary phage bank of Biophage. The BacTrapping(R) system will be
used for the selective capture of bacteria in a contaminated sample. This
system can be used as a stand-alone system or in tandem with our PDS(R)
Biosensor.
