Palo Alto, Calif.-based medical device and software maker Varian Medical Systems (NYSE: VAR) unveiled its East Coast hub in Marietta, Ga., Dec. 1 to support Velocity Medical Solutions, an Atlanta start-up it purchased last year.
In March, Varian announced it was expanding in Atlanta and adding 100 jobs over the next five years.
