BOSTON & SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 1, 2006--SV Life Sciences Advisers, LLC (“SVLS”) today announced that David R. Guyer, M.D. and Bruce A. Peacock have joined the firm as venture partners. Dr. Guyer was most recently the chief executive officer, co-founder and a director of Eyetech Pharmaceuticals, Inc. prior to the company’s acquisition by OSI Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in 2005. Mr. Peacock has led several successful health care companies, including serving as the past CEO of the biopharmaceutical company, Adolor Corporation. Both men will be based on the East Coast.
