MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(CCNMatthews - Feb. 3, 2004) - Sonomax Hearing Healthcare Inc. (TSX VENTURE:SHH) is pleased to announce that it has concluded an international licensing agreement for its revolutionary industrial hearing protection line, for the Nordic countries of Denmark, Sweden, Finland, and Norway. The exclusive licensee is Soundship Aps, a Danish company that develops and markets award winning noise surveillance equipment readily used hearing conservation programs throughout the European Community (E.U.) through a comprehensive agent network of occupational health/safety professionals. Much along the lines of the recently announced Hagemeyer (UK) Ltd., the framework of this two year agreement is based on Sonomax granting exclusive right to sell and service Sonomax industrial hearing protection in the territory, in consideration of commitments which include an initial order equal to approximately CAD$.100 000. The licensee will also take financial responsibility for the testing, regulatory, training, and insurance pre-requisite costs of selling and marketing the Sonomax product line within its jurisdiction.
